ADAM in Destination: Outer Space
ADAM is an acronym for Autonomous Data Acquisition Module. Its prime directive was to explore strange new worlds and seek out new life and new civilizations. Out of two hundred and seventeen probes sent he was the only one to return. He lives on the planet Eh'don and is known as the "wise one" to the Eh'donish people.
916 years into its mission, a worldwide atomic war destroyed 97.311% of all living creatures of the planet, leaving only insects alive. ADAM used its knowledge and samples of DNA from its creators to create a new breed of Eh'donish people.
