Ryan took over as the character Young Hercules in the tv series, replacing Ian Bohen, who had played the character in the movie and in flashback episodes of Hercules. Young Hercules also starred Dean O'Gorman, Chris Conrad, and Kevin Smith. The older version of this character was played by Kevin Sorbo, who now stars in Andromeda. Ryan's career includes movies such as Remember the Titans, Murder by Numbers, and United States of Leland.
