Richard has played the role of Jack O'Neill in StarGate SG-1 (and StarGate Atlantis) since 1997, taking over the role originally played by Kurt Russell in the original movie. Richard is just as well-known for his series MacGyver, which also starred Bruce McGill. He later starred in Legend with John de Lancie.
