Ms. Neill is best remembered as Lois Lane in the 50s tv series Adventures of Superman. What some may not remember is that she played the part before, in the 1948 movie Superman and then the 1950 movie Atom Man vs. Superman.
She has kept busy in the Superman universe, playing Lois Lane's mother in the Chris Reeves 1978 Superman movie, playing Alexis in the Superboy series, and most recently as Gertrude Vanderworth in Superman Returns.
