Despite rolls in projects such as Planet of the Apes, Young and the Restless, Barnaby Jones, The Twilight Zone, V, and Roots, Marc remains best-known and best-loved for the character Dar in the first three (so far) BeastMaster films. In fact, he is so associated with that character that when BeastMaster went to series, the producers of the new series brought him in as a new character: Dartanus. In the new BeastMaster series, he co-starred with Emilie de Ravin, Monika Schnarre, and Marjean Holden.
