Ernest Borgnine

An Oscar winner, Ernest may be best remembered to science fiction fans for playing Rogo in The Poseidon Adventure, though he appeared in all four Dirty Dozen movies, as well as appearances in JAG, Touched by an Angel, Airwolf, McHale's Navy, and literally hundreds of other roles.
