Bibi was born on February 1, 1940 and passed away September 7, 1996 due to breast cancer.
She is probably best known for her portrayal of Dr. Carol Marcus, the ex-love of Admiral James Kirk, and mother of his only known child, in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. As much as I enjoyed her work there, I think she was better in the movie Steel Magnolias. But that's just me. She also appeared in the TV movie Doing Time on Maple Drive with a young William McNamara, and James Sikking - who appeared in Star Trek 3!
