1/19/02, 9:00 a.m. - Holy crap!

In exactly 11 hours, the new Babylon 5 movie will be airing. I have been waiting for this movie for over a year. I've talked briefly with most of the people involved - some for an hour or more, some for just a minute or two. Everyone involved with it loves it, and wants it to go to series. And I'm right there with them. It's been far too long since we've had new B5 on television! Crusade was great, but it ended too quickly (damn you, TNT!).

Steve will be coming up and watching the movie with me. He is the second-biggest B5 fan I know, next to me, and his knowledge of trivia is amazing. I'm quite proud of him. With Crusade airing the last 3 weeks, I've been able to do something that'll make him happy - make a copy for him.

He's only been able to see about 3, maybe 4, of the episodes of Crusade, as opposed to the Bab 5 episodes that he's seen repeatedly. Now, he'll have his own set of the 13 episodes. He'll finally be introduced to Galen, Dureena, Gideon, Eilerson, Chambers, and the rest. To a B5 fan, it's thrilling. A non-B5 fan would be sitting there going "yeah, and?" ... that's when I clobber them! lol anyway.

In the first week of April, Kansas City will be hosting a Convention. It's been too long since I've been to one, and I'm going. Hopefully, Steve will be able to go too. I know Sassy, DarkD, and others will be there. The guests include Kate Mulgrew, William Shatner, Jeffrey Combs (Harriman Grey - B5), and Jerry Doyle (Garibaldi - B5). There are, I think, 13 guests at this point, with 3 more unannounced guests, so far.

There's more that I'll be talking about later on, but that's enough for now.
